Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion

Oberlin College works to create a diverse and inclusive campus community where students, staff, and faculty can participate in a free and respectful exchange of ideas without having to overcome barriers of discrimination or harassment. The Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion supports that goal by

  • recommending non-discrimination policies that reflect campus culture and federal guidelines,
  • responding to discrimination and harassment reports with a clear review process,
  • and offering support and information to any members of our community who are involved in discrimination or harassment reports.

Students, staff, and faculty are protected by law and policy against discrimination and harassment based on:

Any member of our campus community who feels they've been involved with an incident of discrimination or harassment is encouraged to contact Rebecca Mosely, interim Title IX coordinator and interim director of the Office Of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, for help determining an appropriate course of action.
