The Human Resources Department is responsible for Oberlin College employee recruitment, benefits administration, payroll processing, maintenance of personnel records, performance appraisal management, employee development and training and the management of employee and labor relations.
Office of Employee/Labor Relations
The Office of Employee/Labor Relations coordinates the hiring process, compliance with employment regulations, the College's labor/management relationship, employee policies and procedures, international employment and employee programs.
Office of Compensation and Benefits
The Office of Compensation and Benefits manages such employee benefits as medical and life insurance, tuition remission, and retirement plans, and insures the timely payment of hourly and salaried employees.
