Overview
Student Health Services (SHS) provides primary care services to Oberlin College students for a broad spectrum of illnesses and injuries as well as follow-up care as needed. We provide immunizations, allergy injections, men & women’s health services (SEE EMERGENCY CONTRACEPTION), physical exams, and some diagnostic testing, procedures, basic laboratory services, a few medications, and supplies.
We maintain a network of local experts who can offer additional speciality care as appropriate. We refer more complex services to specialists. The costs for referrals, more complex laboratory work, international immunizations, or x-rays are handled through the students' insurance provider or by the student.
You will find our office a short walk from the center of campus at 247 West Lorain Street, Suite A, in the Oberlin Professional Building.
Call for an appointment (8:30am-1pm & 2-4:30pm) for any of the above healthcare needs at 440-775-8180.
