The Honor System helps maintain a high standard of integrity in all academic work, under the basic assumption that all work submitted is the sole and original product of the individual student. The system respects the student’s ability to maintain this standard and encourages the further development of this ability. The Student Honor Committee supervises the process, which applies to all work submitted for academic credit, such as examinations, quizzes, papers, and laboratory assignments.
