A number of financing programs are available to assist families with financing an Oberlin education, such as low- or no-interest payment plans and supplemental loans for both parents and students. We do not recommend one program as being better than another. The decision to participate in any of the program options should be based on the unique circumstances in each household.
Prepayment for the upcoming semester
must be made prior to enrollment, or the student must be enrolled in
a monthly payment plan. Term bills will be sent to the student’s home
address. First semester bills are sent out during the first week of
July and second semester bills are mailed in early January. The Financing
Options Fact Sheet, containing additional details, is included with
each student’s original financial aid award.
